Service Trip 2019: Milwaukee, Wisconsin!
Information Session Scheduled: 12:30pm - 1:30pm | January 13 | Upper Room
$100 nonrefundable deposit reserves your spot starting that day!
There is limited space this year so if you are thinking of coming this date is VERY important! If we have more than our allotted 11 spots fill with youth the night of our information session, we will prioritize by seniority (1/13 only).
Open to ascending 9-12 graders, we will spend a week in Milwaukee serving alongside some great organizations that are working to support the Milwaukee community. These organizations include food pantries, soup kitchens, local gardens, and intergenerational care centers. Many of these organizations are interconnected in the process of reducing food insecurity throughout the community. In the evenings you’ll participate in a local worship service, prepare and serve a community meal, go to the beach of Lake Michigan, and hear from community friends who work with teenagers and adults that grew up in the inner city.
Dates: June 23, 2019 - June 28, 2019
